The Costs
The franchise fee for joining Angela’s Swim School is £22,000 plus VAT.
You will also need to consider having some working capital available to meet any costs while you are still taking on your first customers. It is hard to put an exact figure on this, but we will certainly share our experiences of these types of outgoings, and recommend you also seek out your own independent financial advice.
The initial franchise agreement lasts for five years, which is renewable subject to certain criteria being met by the franchisee and in agreement with the franchisor.
Help raising funds
While the Angela’s Swim School franchise does not provide financing directly, there are a number of attractive options to help you with your investment.
For example, it may be possible to obtain funding from most major high street banks for some of the amount. Franchising is one of the safest and most secure ways of starting your own business, so many lenders rightfully see it as a much lower risk than a completely new start-up, and may be much more inclined to lend you money against your investment.
Angela’s Swim School has been operating for many years, and so has already demonstrated its financially viability to a number of big name banks.
Ongoing costs
Joining a franchise is all about you being in control. You will be part of a larger network, but this will be very much your own business. As such, the vast majority of the money comes to you.
However, there are some small ongoing costs as part of your agreement with us:
Angela’s Swim School charges all its partners a Management Service Fee, which is calculated as 15% of your gross turnover per month, and includes a fee for use of our fully automated swim school management system.
